How to reset feedback comments from an article

Clear out an article's written feedback once it no longer describes the content readers actually see.

Last updated on July 9, 2026

Comments are the most valuable feedback your readers leave — and also the most time-bound. Once you've acted on them, or once the article has changed beyond recognition, Emovart lets you clear an article's comments in one step.

When to remove comments

Typical reasons to clear the comment history:

  • The feedback has been addressed. You rewrote the section people complained about; keeping the old complaints around only confuses the next person who reviews the table.
  • The article changed topic or was rewritten so heavily that the comments describe a version that no longer exists.
  • Spam or test entries. Off-topic submissions and your own setup experiments don't belong in the table your team reviews each week.

Step-by-step removal process

  1. Open Settings → Help Centers on emovart.studio and select your site.
  2. Go to the Insights tab and open Feedback analytics.
  3. Click the article's row in the feedback table to open its details.
  4. Click Remove comments and confirm. All written comments on this article are deleted at once.

Important considerations

⚠️
Deleted comments are gone for good — there is no undo and no trash bin. If a comment contains feedback you still want to act on, copy it somewhere safe (a Notion page works nicely) before you confirm.

Also good to know:

  • The removal is per article; comments on all other articles stay untouched.
  • Reaction counts and the satisfaction score are unaffected — this action only clears the written comments.

Want to delete article reactions too?

If the emoji counts should start fresh as well, that's a separate one-click action. See How to reset all feedback reactions from an article.
