Reactions accumulate for the lifetime of an article — which is exactly what you want, right up until the article changes so much that the old votes no longer mean anything. For those moments, Emovart lets you reset an article's reactions with a single click.
When to reset reactions
A reset makes sense whenever the existing score would mislead you:
- After a major rewrite. If readers rated an old, confusing version, those sad faces describe a page that no longer exists.
- After repurposing a page. When an article changes topic, its feedback history should start over too.
- After testing. If you and your teammates clicked through the reaction box while setting the site up, clear that noise before real visitors arrive.
Step-by-step reset process
- Open Settings → Help Centers on emovart.studio and select your site.
- Switch to the Insights tab and open Feedback analytics.
- Find the article in the feedback table and click its row to open the article details.
- Click Reset reactions and confirm. The counts drop to zero immediately.

Important considerations
⚠️
Resetting is permanent. Deleted reaction counts cannot be restored and there is no undo — jot down the old numbers first if you want them for comparison later.
A few more things worth knowing before you click:
- The reset only affects the selected article; every other article keeps its data.
- The satisfaction score and its confidence badge rebuild from scratch as new reactions arrive.
- Written comments are not touched by this action — they have their own reset.
Want to delete article comments too?
Reactions and comments are stored separately, so clearing one never removes the other. To wipe an article's written feedback as well, follow How to reset feedback comments from an article.
