πŸ†• Adding a new collection

Create a new top-level category for your site by adding a page directly under your Notion root page.

Last updated on July 9, 2026

Collections are the top level of your Emovart site: in the Help Center layout they appear as category cards, and in the Documentation layout they become the tabs across the top. Under the hood, a collection is simply a Notion page that sits directly under your connected root page.

To add one:

  1. Open the root page you connected to Emovart.
  2. Type /page (or hit + in the left margin) to create a new sub page.
  3. Give it a short, descriptive title and an icon.
  4. Fill it with sub collections or articles.

Not sure whether you need sub collections inside it? See πŸ—‚ Understanding the Article Hierarchy.

❗
A new collection won't show on your live site until the next sync. Open Settings β†’ Help Centers and click Resync to publish it right away β€” or let the automatic resync pick it up later.
