Three easy steps to get started with Emovart

Go from a blank Notion page to a live, hosted help center in three short steps.

👋 Welcome to Emovart!

We're glad you're here. Emovart turns a regular Notion page into a fast, polished help center: you keep writing in Notion, and Emovart handles the hosting, design, navigation, search, and analytics. Setting everything up takes only a few minutes — and exactly three steps.

1. Duplicate the Emovart starter template

The quickest way to start is with our starter template. It's already structured the way Emovart expects: a root page that contains your collections (the categories of your help center), optional sub collections inside them, and your actual article pages at the bottom of the tree.

Open the template and click Duplicate in the top-right corner to copy it into your own Notion workspace. From there you can rename the collections and swap the sample articles for your own.

Already have a Notion page you'd like to use? That works too — just make sure it follows the same hierarchy: root page → collections → (optional) sub collections → articles.

2. Connect Emovart to your Notion

Head over to emovart.studio, open Settings → Help Centers, and create your first site. Click Connect Notion and approve the one-click authorization prompt — this creates a secure connection between Emovart and your workspace. Then, in Notion, share your root page with that connection so Emovart is allowed to read it and everything inside it.

3. Pick your root page and go live

Back in the console, click Browse my Notion pages and select the root page you just duplicated — or paste the page link directly if you have it handy.

Hit Resync, and Emovart imports your collections and articles. That's it — your help center is now live at https://<your-slug>.emovart.studio 🎉

🤯 Trouble connecting your Notion page?

If the connection doesn't work on the first try, don't worry — it's almost always a small sharing or page-selection hiccup. This short walkthrough shows the entire flow from start to finish:

▶️ What should I do next?

Now for the fun part. Upload your logo and set your brand color, choose between the Help Center and Documentation layouts, and start filling your collections with real articles — all from Notion.

Every change you make in Notion reaches your site on the next sync. Press Resync in the console when you want an update live immediately, or let the automatic periodic resync pick it up for you.
