People switch roles, agencies hand projects back to clients, founders bring in operators. Whatever the reason, transferring ownership of a Emovart project is self-serve and takes just a few minutes.
✅ Steps to transfer ownership
1. Make sure the new Admin has a Emovart account
The incoming owner needs their own account first. Signing up at emovart.studio is free and takes under a minute.
2. Add them as a team member
From your project, open Settings → Team and invite them by email. Any role is fine for now — you'll promote them in the next step. Full details are in How to add team members.
3. Promote them to Admin
Once they've accepted the invite, open the role dropdown next to their name and select Admin.

Confirm the change, and they instantly hold the same powers you do.

🔄 After the transfer
Both of you are now Admins, and the new owner can manage everything — including demoting or removing you. The site, its domain, and all settings keep working; visitors won't notice a thing. One tip: if the Notion connection was authorized with your personal Notion account, have the new owner reconnect it from theirs so future syncs don't depend on you.
🧾 Need to change the invoice email?
Receipts go to the billing email, which is separate from any team member's login. Update it under Settings → Billing → Manage billing so future invoices reach the new owner.
❌ Removing the old Admin account
Once the new owner has confirmed everything works, they can remove your membership from Settings → Team. If you'd like your Emovart account deleted entirely afterwards, send us a note through the contact form in the console.
