Changing your site's background and accent colors

Set a header background and a brand accent color in the console so your help center matches your palette exactly.

Last updated on July 9, 2026

Emovart gives you two color controls: a background color for the header area and an accent color for everything interactive. Both live under Settings → Help Centers → your site → Branding — type a hex value or use the picker, save, and the change is live right away.

Where the background color shows up

The background color fills the hero header at the top of your site — the area holding your logo, title, and search bar. On the Help Center layout it's the large banner above your collection cards; on the Documentation layout it tints the top navigation bar.

Where the accent color shows up

The accent color drives everything clickable: links inside articles, the active tab pill in the navigation, buttons like Contact us, and hover states on collection cards. It's also the default color of your widget launcher.

One practical tip: pick an accent with enough contrast against white text. A mid-tone brand shade keeps button labels readable and looks great in both layouts.
