Adding custom menu and footer links

Place your own links in the top-right menu and the footer of your help center — ideal for routing visitors back to your main site or app.

Out of the box, navigation on a Emovart site stays minimal on purpose. Custom links let you extend it: point readers to your homepage, a status page, a changelog, your app's sign-in screen, or anywhere else that helps them. You manage all of it in the console under Settings → Help Centers → your site → Navigation.

🔗 The two kinds of links

  • Header menu links appear in the top-right corner of every page, next to the search bar. Reserve them for one or two high-value destinations like "Back to app" or "Sign in".
  • Footer links render in the bottom footer across the whole site — a natural home for legal pages, your status page, and social profiles.

For each link you set a label and a URL, and choose whether it opens in a new tab. Drag entries to reorder them; everything goes live the moment you save.

Adding navigation links

Keep labels to one or two words so the header stays tidy on small screens. And if one link matters most, put it first — the leftmost header link gets by far the most clicks.
