Most sync problems trace back to a small handful of causes. Before digging in, open Settings → Help Centers and check the last-sync status shown next to your site — it often points straight at the problem. Then work through the situations below.
Something in Notion is empty
Emovart skips content it can't render, so an article that seems to have vanished is often just empty in one way or another.
🚫 Empty or missing page title
Every article needs a title — that's where its URL comes from. A page left as "Untitled" can't get a proper slug, so Emovart leaves it out of the sync.
Something similar goes for the description: the first fully-italic paragraph of a page becomes the article's subtitle. If it's missing, the article still syncs, but it shows up without a description on category pages and in search results.
Give the page a real title (and a one-line italic description), then press Resync.
🚫 Empty Notion page
A page with a title but no content blocks syncs as a blank article — technically present, but not helpful to anyone. If you're still drafting, keep unfinished pages outside your root page until they're ready to publish.
🚫 Empty collections
A collection with no article pages inside it won't appear on your site at all. And if the root page has no collections, your whole help center comes up empty after the sync. Make sure there's at least one collection containing at least one article.
Moved, renamed, or unshared pages
The single most common cause of a failing sync is access: the root page — or a page inside it — is no longer shared with the Emovart connection. Open the page in Notion, click Share, and confirm the connection is still listed. If someone moved the page to another part of the workspace, re-share it from its new location.
Two more structural traps to watch for: pages nested deeper than root → collection → sub collection → article are ignored entirely, and renaming pages changes their URLs (safe for syncing, but old links will break). See Important: Working with the template for the full set of structure rules.
Last updated shows nothing (or "NaN")
Each article displays a "Last updated" date taken from the page's last-edited time in Notion. If that spot shows a blank or a garbled value, the page usually hasn't completed a successful sync yet. Trigger a Resync from the console and reload the article.
